Made of gingerbread. And HOMEMADE! 

I am sounding crazy, I know. But I really wanted to prove to myself I could do it. I followed my Grandma Huber's recipe and used the easy-peasy cardboard pattern (my mom cut out for me-she is so great) to cut it after pulling it out of the oven...

(obviously i let my thumb get in the way while pulling it out. boo)
It is SUPER important to cut the gingerbread right when it comes out of the oven and is still soft. If you wait, it will get too hard and break if you try to cut it!

I let my gingerbread sit for a couple days(right like that in the pan just on my counter), but you could put it together sooner than that, as long as it is cool. We finally got around to decorating ours last night!
